b.offshore GmbH offers steel construction, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering for the entire offshore wind farm from planning to the operating phase to periodic inspections according to BSH standard reliably from a single source. Our North German engineering office has offshore experience and is equipped with all offshore certificates according to GWO standard and has been working for the entire offshore wind industry since 2016.

Your tasks

In this responsible position, you will develop technical solutions and support projects with your technical expertise from the early concept development stage through planning to implementation and commissioning. You will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and networking of electrical engineering systems for energy generation and distribution as well as vital systems.

  • You will develop electrical engineering devices and systems in accordance with applicable standards, norms, and regulations.
  • You will coordinate the requirements for electrical engineering devices and systems with the needs of our customers.
  • You will assume responsibility for all electrical engineering matters and their monitoring within the scope of project management.
  • You will participate in the creation of new technical system specifications and the revision of existing specifications.
  • You will develop technical contract and order specifications for electrical engineering equipment and systems.
  • You will create test specifications and supervise tests, including active participation in tests.
  • You will supervise the construction and installation phase at the shipyard and offshore in close cooperation with your team.

Your profile

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, plant engineering, marine engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field (bachelor/master/diploma)
  • Experience in working with complex plants and systems
  • Knowledge of hardware and software development processes
  • Knowledge of technical regulations (DGUV V3, DIN VDE 0105, DIN VDE 0100)
  • Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • User knowledge of CAD and CAE (preferably EPLAN)
  • Strong implementation skills, results-oriented and structured approach to work
  • High degree of responsibility and independence
  • Business English, spoken and written
  • Class B driver's license
