10 years b.offshore - Highlights from 2022

2022 was a year of partnerships for b.offshore – and of the projects that emerged from them. Together with long-standing clients and new partners, we carried out numerous projects relating to offshore wind energy. This demonstrated that good collaboration creates solutions that work even under challenging conditions.

The year was characterised by a wide variety of projects. At existing offshore installations, the focus was on retrofits, maintenance and technical optimisations. Systems for drinking water and seawater were adapted, tanks were cleaned and ventilation and air-conditioning systems were serviced. Tests and inspections were also part of day-to-day operations. Many of these tasks required not only technical expertise but also precise coordination between all parties involved.

At the same time, new areas of work emerged. b.offshore worked on designs for steel structures and foundation components, developed technical solutions for offshore living quarters and provided support in the planning of communications and supply systems. International projects also broadened our horizons beyond German waters.

However varied the tasks may have been, they all had one thing in common: close collaboration with partners. In 2022, existing trust was further strengthened and new connections were forged. Practical solutions emerged from shared challenges – and successful projects opened up new prospects for the future.

Not every project was of the same scale or as spectacular, however. It was precisely the wide variety of tasks that demonstrated just how important experience, flexibility and short lines of communication are. Whether it was short-term support or extensive planning, b.offshore wanted to be one thing above all else – a reliable partner.

2022 was therefore a year in which partnerships were not only nurtured but actively developed further. And it was precisely this that gave rise to the projects that drove b.offshore forward.
