Hygienic inspection and cleaning of HVAC systems according to VDI 6022

As part of a new job at a converter station in the Baltic Sea, the b.offshore GmbH team carried out a hygienic inspection and cleaning of the ventilation and air conditioning systems in line with VDI 6022. The goal was to make sure the ventilation systems were hygienically safe and working properly to protect people's health.

The team, which is qualified according to VDI 6022 Category A, first checked the systems for pollution, microbiological contamination, and technical defects, and then conducted a detailed cleaning of all relevant components of the ventilation systems. For further assurance, microbiological samples were taken and evaluated by an accredited laboratory. 

All results and recommendations for future maintenance and inspection measures were documented in the final report. With this measure, b.offshore GmbH underscores its commitment to the highest quality standards and the protection of the health of all those involved.
