Repair of the roofs of the diesel generators on DolWin beta

The corrosion protection on the roofs and the exhaust tract of the diesel generator containers at the DolWin beta offshore converter station operated by TenneT was reconditioned by b.offshore GmbH. Due to the extreme weather conditions on the high seas, maintenance and repair work on the corrosion protection must be carried out at regular intervals.

Scaffolding with an enclosure was installed on each container to ensure a safe and professional finish. In addition, some areas on the upper deck were levelled with a levelling compound to prevent the accumulation of rainwater.
