Certified specialized company in accordance with Section 62 of the Federal Water Act
b.offshore GmbH has reached another important milestone: The company has been successfully certified by TÜV SÜD as a specialized contractor under the Water Resources Act (WHG).
With this certification, the company meets the legal requirements for work on facilities that handle substances hazardous to water. The Water Resources Act serves to protect water bodies and the environment and ensures that such activities are carried out exclusively by qualified specialized companies.
As part of the certification process, b.offshore GmbH was able to demonstrate that it possesses the necessary technical equipment, appropriate operational procedures, and qualified personnel. Current legislation, pursuant to Section 62 of the WHG, specifies the following activities in particular for specialized companies working on facilities that handle water-polluting substances:
- Construction
- Repair
- Internal cleaning
- Decommissioning
For customers, the certification means an additional level of safety and the assurance that all work is carried out professionally, in compliance with the law, and according to high quality standards.
