In May 2026, b.offshore GmbH completed a high-precision survey of the helicopter landing deck on a converter platform located north of the island of Rügen.

The goal of the project was to precisely determine the geodetic position parameters of the helicopter landing deck. This included the precise determination of the geographic position of the reference point based on the global coordinate system WGS84, as well as the determination of the elevation of the landing deck.

As early as 2016, b.offshore established itself as a versatile service provider in planning, surveying, refitting, inspection, and maintenance, thereby laying the foundation for its development into a specialized offshore engineering company. In the same year, the team grew to 17 employees through the integration of former WeserWind staff, who contributed their offshore experience effectively from the very beginning.

The company ensures that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are hygienic and fully compliant with German standards.

b.offshore GmbH was able to contribute its expertise during the installation phase of an offshore wind farm currently under construction. Three self-sufficient 10-foot energy containers were developed, built, and commissioned in the North Sea for the operator to ensure the power supply for the radio network operation for the installation personnel. The entire project cycle was covered, from the initial design to final commissioning in the offshore wind farm.

b.offshore GmbH has installed a platform with an integrated overhead crane for a converter station in the North Sea. This solution enables easy and safe access to the pumps and their replacement without exposing service personnel to danger. The project phases included development and design of the system, production monitoring at the steel manufacturer, the purchase of attachments including the crane, and offshore installation. Shortly after installation, the system was successfully put into operation.

In November, the industrial surveying experts at b.offshore GmbH successfully completed the survey of the helicopter landing deck for a new converter station in the North Sea. The aim was to precisely determine the geographical location and elevation of the landing site in accordance with the AVV-HFP (General Administrative Regulation for the Approval of the Construction and Operation of Helicopter Landing Sites).

As part of the initial commissioning of a drinking water installation for an offshore converter station, the b.offshore GmbH team successfully carried out all measures in accordance with the requirements of VDI 6023. This achieved the main objective of the inspection, which was to ensure hygienically safe drinking water quality and protect human health.

As part of a new job at a converter station in the Baltic Sea, the b.offshore GmbH team carried out a hygienic inspection and cleaning of the ventilation and air conditioning systems in line with VDI 6022. The goal was to make sure the ventilation systems were hygienically safe and working properly to protect people's health.

In September 2025, a three-person team from b.offshore GmbH installed several CCTV video surveillance cameras in the outdoor area of an offshore converter platform. First, cables were routed from the interior of the platform to the exterior and the cameras were connected to the cables via distribution boxes.
